Hello! Today I changed my blog's background and header? How was it? :) And have I said it? I drew the clouds!!!  Anyway today's nothing special, just tried a (supposedly) new (for me) Japanese Restaurant, and it was just "Meh...", not especially impressive or something. -- It seems too fast however, this holiday. It's as it's just in a blink of an eye. I'm not sure how and why I have let this opportunity pass by yet again without doing anything useful. :/ One thing is for sure I'm getting fatter.  -- An update about my city. My hometown. My Medan, to be exactly. Apparently the people are raging about the rise of petrol prices and decide to rake a riot. People start marching around the heart of the city, what with all the banners, paints and megaphones. Some extreme measures such as burning tyres and stone throwing are also in action. Some people even cause a huge fire in our city. As we all know, we might be in the middle of a GLOBAL economy crisis. GLOBAL, as in, many, many countries out there are experiencing some sort of economic depression. Prices of everything sky-rocketed; petroleum, though slowly depleting, remains high on demand; people (I'm not sure about this one, but I have a feeling this might be true) are getting sacked each day. Come on, you guys are university students and you guys most likely could afford internet (internet cafe is CHEAP!!), just try to add one and one together and I'm sure you know what it means. It's not that hard, isn't it? Sooner or later, the prices of petroleum are going to raise. That is for sure. I know IDR6,000 per litre might seem a little too much (approximately 65cents in USD), but could you use a much more civilised method? You do realise how much inconvenience you guys have caused everyone else, right? There must be other ways aside of causing a riot, right? I hope this riot will stop soon. -- Anyhow, here's a doodle I made for my MSN icon. (Thus the tiny size)  I guess that's all for today. :) ....as for the story I said before, I'll try to regain my desire to write and start creating.... ........................soon....... |
